The directors of RGA participated in the XI Commercial Meeting Dominican Republic – Venezuela held at the Hotel Mares Mares in the city of Puerto La Cruz on July 12 and 13 of this year, to evaluate the business climate of the Caribbean country and initiate a approach with key players in the local market. For this, the support of the Venezuelan-Dominican Binational Chamber (CAVEDOM), a union to which RGA belongs and actively participates, was essential.
On the first day of the XI Meeting, a cycle of talks was held where business opportunities, the macro-economic environment of the island, projections, public-private investments, labor legislation, etc. were discussed. The second day was dedicated exclusively to a business conference where direct contact was established between the speakers and the different attendees at the event, as well as the attendees with each other.
During this event, the need to bring the issue of energy efficiency and audits to the Chamber’s counterpart event in Santo Domingo was raised, in such a way as to capture all of RGA’s know-how in this matter that is so significant for the Dominican Republic. .
